A Poison Called: Envy

“A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” Proverbs 14:30
In my opinion envy or jealousy is an emotion which makes us feel negatively for something/somebody which we can’t have/be. Envy or jealousy has such powerful effects on human life that they literally destroys our relationships, spoils our credibility, distracts our focus from our goals, and so to speak we lose our peace of mind as a whole. It is really an evil among the emotions. I have seen people leaving their jobs for a mere reason called envy, either by rearing it in their own hearts or being a prey to it.
May God bless us to learn the life’s lesson each day we grow in His wisdom.
